4 facts about Britain’s longest reigning monarch

Here are a few facts about Queen Elizabeth II, England’s longest reigning queen, according to Fox News.

As many know the Queen loves the corgi. She was first introduced to the dog breed in 1933 when he brought home a corgi named Dookie. She was given her first corgi for her 18th birthday. And she has had 30 corgis during her reign. Many of which are descendants of her first corgi, Susan.

Although many think of the Queen as being very serious. Those close to her say she is fun, relaxed, and has a great sense of humor. Some saying she is a great mimicker and very well informed.

During her reign she has made more than a hundred trips to more than 110 countries. Being the first English Queen to make state visit to four countries.

On September 8, Queen Elizabeth II became the longest reigning monarch in the world.
