Officials were never able to recover the body of Jeffrey Bush after he was swallowed up by a sinkhole as he lay in bed in his home in Florida, and now engineers will simply fill the sinkhole in.
The effort to refill the sinkhole has begun near Tampa, which had reopened two years after swallowing the man as he slept, according to a KRMG report.
Officials think heavy rains recently caused hydraulic stress on the previously patched sinkhole, causing it to open up again and create a hazard.
Bush was sleeping in his bedroom back in March 2013 when the floor suddenly collapsed and he fell in, getting buried instantly. His body was never found.
