South Korean Health Officials Stumped by MERS Virus Persistence

There were two more deaths connected with MERS infection in South Korea just few hours ago bringing the death tally to 27.

The country’s fight against Middle East Respiratory Syndrome has taken a roller coaster ride. Just very recently it was announced that the MERS infection has been vanished completely.

Today however, the additional 3 cases has brought the total persons infected up to 72.  This is the biggest MERS infection outbreak outside of Saudi Arabia.
