It’s clear that Mariah Carey is the type of person who do not worry about burning bridges altogether. Why?
Because on Thursday, the diva divulged to us her true feelings about her stint as a judge of “American Idol” in an interview on the “Kyle and Jackie O” radio show in Australia, where she gave a no holds barred interview.
In 2013, Carey was a judge for a single season together with Nicki Minaj, Keith Urban and Randy Jackson where she adamantly stated her intention of never returning to the show for its final season ever, she was quoted as “Hell no! Absolutely not!”
On air during the radio show, she called it “the worst experience of my life” before referring to a show-contrived feud between Minaj and herself.
“I am not going to get into what it was. I don’t think they had any interest in us having a good experience through that show. Pitting two females against each other wasn’t cool. It should have been more about the contestants instead of about some non-existent feud that turned into even more ridiculousness,” Carey explained.
“So boring and so fake,” was what the “Hero” singer dubbed the show, before adding her “hellish” experience with AI was not the first time she talked about it. In 2013 after coming off the show, she articulated to Angie Martinez of Hot 97’s that “it was like going to work every day in hell with Satan.”
So don’t you just love her? Never ever change Mariah Carey.
