Cheap $149 Motorola Moto E smartphone, a value-for-money offer

Smartphone maker Motorola has just rolled out its budget smartphone, Moto E, which boasts of impressive features and functionalities. Motorola is zeroing in on penetrating the lucrative Western market with its mobile phones that come with vastly improved innards.

The Moto E is LTE-enabled which makes it as enticing bait for low-budgeted users in urban areas. The handset is also available 3G-only variant that is intended for growing markets.

The majority of the smartphone companies are concentrating on the middle-level to high-end segments and the low-end market is almost lacking in value-for-money smartphones. Motorola attempts to exploit the low-end niche to the hilt with its sleek Moto E, a smartphone which is fetched at just $149 no-contract.

Motorola is pouncing more on coming up with mobile devices with great value and looks and the same time had in mind the price.

Moto E has the potential to impress and make its presence felt further in the market as it has the appearance, decent features and it is priced reasonably well.

Moto E is lightweight at 145g (5.1 ounces) and features a generous 4.5 inches qHD screen panel display, resolution of 960 x 540 pixels, 1GB of RAM, 8GB storage which can be expanded to 32GB through a microSD card and it is powered by a Qualcomm 1.2GHz quad-core processor.

Keep in mind that Moto E is a budget phone so expect that it will not be beefed up with crisp screens as its pixel density of about 245 pixels-per-inch (ppi) is about half of the iPhone 6. This quite recognizable but this caveat is forgivable.

The mobile device boasts runs the most recent version of Android 5.0 “Lollipop” and decks in a 2,390 mAh battery that company says will lasts for not less than 24 hours.

The Moto E appearance and design is certainly not a favorite to win any awards, but it is compact, tough and convenient to have a grip on. Don’t attempt to throw it though, since it will likely get broken.

The precursor of the Moto E is clad with plastic case that is interchangeable, but the latest version comes with an outer band and available in an assortment of exciting colors.

The Moto E is indeed a great option especially and you can have it through Verizon, Sprint, and US Cellular.
