Mitsubishi shows off its state of the art Concept GC-PHEV in the Chicago Auto Show

Japanese car maker Mitsubishi has just unveiled a new-generation, full-size hybrid SUV, which is the Mitsubishi Concept GC-PHEV in the ongoing 2015 Chicago Auto Show.

Beefed up with a truly masculine and handsome-looking design the GC-PHEV is run by a superb 335-hp supercharged MIVEC V-6 engine/electric motor plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) drive train and an eight-speed automatic transmission. Moreover, the car also flaunts scores of cutting edge features, and also has Mitsubishi’s Super All-Wheel Control (S-AWC) full-time all-wheel drive.

One of the high-tech features of the GC-PHEV is the Tactical Table, which is actually an innovative information system that optimizes the interactive experience of the drivers and passengers with the tech-centered vehicle.

The GC-PHEV is a must-have for those who are tech-savvy and value safety driving and security as it brings in an assortment of futuristic safety systems like the ‘Connected Car’ technology, AR Windshield, Pedestrian Collision Mitigating Auto-braking, and Unintentional Vehicle Move Off Control, Rearward Blind Spot Vehicle Warning, and the list goes on.

Don Swearingen, the Executive VOP of Mitsubishi Motors North America (MMNA) quipped that the, “The Concept showcases aggressive styling and a level of refinement that will be coming to Mitsubishi vehicles.” Swearingen added, “All of our 2016 model year vehicles will be refreshed with our new brand identity.”

With the GC-PHEV  Mitsubishi  truly showcased its “future technology and design themes” in the ongoing Chicago Auto Show.
