Japanese car maker Mazda made its presence felt in the ongoing Chicago Auto Show as its sleek and handsome-looking 2015 Mazda MX-5 Accessories Concept has just made its highly anticipated debut.
The Mazda MX-5 comes with impressive features that include ceramic metallic paint, Brembo brake package with red calipers and carbon-fiber luggage rack. Seating comfortably at its 17 inches BBS alloy wheels, Mazda is beefed up with 2.0-litre SKYACTIV four-cylinder petrol engine option that comes with an impressive power output of 116kW and torque of 201Nm.
Aside from the 2-liter enginw, the would-be buyers in Australia may opt for the smaller 1.5-litre four-cylinder engine for the 2015 MX-5. The Mazda MX-5s that will land in the Land Down Under will have an output power of 95kW and torque of 150Nm.
The 2.0-liter and 1.5-liter engines variants of the 2015 MX-5 in Australia will probably be equipped with six-speed manual or six-speed automatic transmissions. Australia is tipped to be the only country in the world that will have Mazda’s both 2.0-liter and 1.5-liter engines.
The 2015 Mazda MX-5 is expected to land in US this coming June, and is expected to arrive in Australia later this year. Pundits expect that the pricing for the sleek 1.5 liter variant will be $40,000.
