Bruce Jenner’s Smartphone Is the Center of Investigation Involving Multiple Car Accident. One Person Died.

Bruce Jenner was involved in a car accident this past weekend. The California Department of Motor Vehicles records showed that the driver  of the other car who had been killed was identified as Kim Howe, a 69 year old woman from Calabasas. It was discovered that her driver’s licensed had been expired since 2007, according to the Los Angeles Times.

Furthermore, for authorities to check whether there was any violation done, all drivers’ license from the owners of the four vehicles involved in the crash will be checked and investigated. Jenner who is a 65 year old former Olympian will be asked to surrender his cellphone so that the authorities will be able to get additional information that will help in the investigation.

The result will then determine if any of the drivers had violated any code which  usually takes time, months of processing, and if indeed there is a violation. The erring  driver will then be charged with vehicular manslaughter.

Jenner reportedly is willing to assist the authorities on investigating his involvement on the death of Howe. He had stated that he was devastated about the tragedy. The authorities are still investigating the cause of the crash. Detectives are doing their part by inspecting the vehicles and analyzing how the accident may have happened,

The authorities described the car crash incident.  Jenner was driving his black Escalade  behind Howe who was driving a Lexus., When a Prius had to stop on the highway, Howe hit the Prius and Jenner who was behind was not able to control his vehicle and hit her car tail-end so hard that the impact sent the Lexus across the traffic barrier right into the way where a Hummer was coming at a high speed and directly crashed into the Lexus. Howe reportedly was killed instantly. Five others were said to have suffered minor injuries and received immediate medical attention.

Jenner was chased by the paparazzi during the accident although he clearly showed no signs of escaping, the LA Times reported.

Sgt. Philip Brooks of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department stated in an interview for a newspaper that Jenner who was reportedly inclined to become a woman, was seen holding his phone in a photograph although it was not known as to when it was actually taken.
