Back in 60’s this would be a Nirvana experience. Yes, nobody in the 60’s generation will ever believe that this will happen even forever. Now it’s here, live. These vending machines in Seattle are vendors of happiness. People who wants to use the grass can just drop their money, like when they are buying soft drinks or other foods they’d want to eat. The treat started last Tuesday.
The machines called ZaZZZ, are put inside medical pot dispensaries which keep tabs on the buyer’s age and identity. Marijuana medical cards are needed to get inside the dispensing centers, according to Greg Patrick, a spokesman for the maker of ZaZZZ, American Green.
Colorado initiated putting up vending machines sometime last year but only for selling cannabis laced foods unlike what they have in Seattle which includes the lock, stock and barrel or the whole thing. The flowers, buds and leaves are all there which what smokers use during their pot sessions.
“It’s historic, there’s just no other way to state it. We saw the repeal of prohibition in the early 20th century and the mark that made on our country and the companies that did it right,” Patrick said. “We’re in that stage. This will only happen once in our country’s history, the repeal of this prohibition.”
The touchscreen machine is very easy to use. They can buy the stuff and play video games if they want to. They can also read important facts about the products. All they have to do is swipe their “grass cards”, or they can use their driver’s license to legally obtain the stuff using bitcoins since the federal government don’t want people using their credit cards when buying the products.
“Once you swipe your ID, you can go shopping on the screen,” Patrick said. “You can be in and out — literally — in a matter of minutes.”
