Leatherman launches world’s first smart bracelet that is better than a Swiss knife

The Oregon-based multi-tool company Leatherman Tool Group has just announced that it will join the wearable war zone armed with a multi-functional bracelet a.k.a. the “Leatherman Tread.”

The multi-faceted bracelet launched by Leatherman is slated to penetrate the markets this summer and it is price ranges from $150 up to $600.

The Leatherman Tread bracelet is tipped to be the first of its kind in the wrist-worn segment in the world. According to a report furnished by Tech Times report, the bracelet is consists of 17-4 stainless steel links, with each link bringing in two to three functional tools. Overall the bracelet will have 25 cool and useful tools.

The smart wristband boasts of screwdrivers, box wrenches, hex drives, a carbide glass breaker, and a SIM card pick that can also be employed by the users as a hook-style box cutter.

The Leatherman Tread multi-tool wristband is user-friendly and can be customized according to the likings of the users as there are different ways to place the tools through the slotted fasteners.

By adding or removing the users can be able to modify the order of the tools, and even alter the size of the bracelet for comfort and convenience.
