John Legere’s bold forecast: T-Mobile to overtake Sprint and fight toe-to-toe with Verizon in 2015

This year T-Mobile has whipped up a lot of innovations and garnered awards, nods and accolades from users and industry experts and is poised to perform even better in the near year which is 2015.

The feisty and candid T-Mobile CEO John Legere has just made bold predictions for 2015. Legere foretell that T’Mobile will overtake one of its main rivals Sprint to grab the third spot in the wireless carrier segment, behind Verizon and AT&T.

Legere said that the company will continue to ride on the early success of its ‘Uncarrier’-branded promotions and eventually go beyond Sprint in 2015.

Legere had just made a forecast that T-Mobile will grab the third position from Sprint in the last quarter of 2014. But at this moment the latest rankings of both T-Mobile and Sprint is still not yet known since the two wireless carriers haven’t made their report for the fourth quarter of 2014.

Legere has said that the company is on the verge of overtaking Sprint but eventually T-Mobile will snare the third spot in the US in 2015.

Aside from predicting that T-Mobile will soon cop the third position, Legere has brought up the company’s objectives for 2015 and even said that the T-Mobile will go toe-to-toe with the top wireless carrier Verizon in almost any part of the country and pull off an upset victory.
