Competition heats up further as the second biggest wireless communications provider in the United States which is the AT&T is providing 50% more data capacity to its original deal without the added cost.
AT&T has just rolled an enticing offer at a limited-basis. The wireless space courier is offering its customers with data for $100/month, which is 5 GB more than the original deal.
The promotion is part of the company’s A&T’s Mobile Share Value plan, which provides the new and old subscribers an added 5 GB data capacity for the same monthly subscription which is pegged at $100/month price tag. The fees also cover unlimited talk and text.
The battle in the post-paid subscription has become fiercer even as T-Mobile stirs the hornet’s nest with its novelty “Uncarrier” campaign which helped the company amassed 22.5 million subscribers in the past year and a half.
The campaign threw the light on the wireless industry and helped them carved out a niche in the market. The campaign which is consists of seven major moves are whipped up to rip through some rule in the industry, some limitations that pisses off customers.
AT&T had launched permanent double data allotments for Mobile Share Value plans last month, a reaction to the growing competition provided by its rivals such as the T-Mobile and Verizon. The number 1 wireless space provider in the US, Verizon, has joined the battle royale by handing out refined and enticing data plans and incentives to customers switching carriers on the same day.
AT&T had also unleashed a tactical deal with Apple that provide its current subscribers a cool $50 for upgrading their handset to a new iPhone if they opt for the Next hardware leasing plan. To get the $50 bill credit, one must purchase an iPhone via the Apple Store.
And last but definitely not the least, AT&T has stated that its limited-time data promotion will kick off on Tuesday. The company hasn’t disclosed the expiration date of the promotion.
