Kindle’s latest update: Allows ebooks sharing with family members

Here’s a cool double treat for Kindle e-readers who are at the same time fond of bonding with their family. Now the users can share their ebooks with their family members without resorting to sharing their account

Amazon on Wednesday has just released a free software update for the Kindle users that comes with valuable new features, like the Family Library, which allow users to share ebooks with their partners.

The Family Library was released shortly after Apple had loaded a feature dubbed as Family Sharing into its iOS 8, which allows up to six family members to share purchases from App Store and iTunes.

The new fangled Kindle software will soon land in Amazon’s latest Kindle version, Kindle Voyage and Kindle Paperwhite devices.

The update also features a support for Amazon’s FreeTime Unlimited, which provides unlimited subscription to kids’ books starting at very cheap rate of $2.99/month. The service flaunts hundreds of chapter books for all kids such as the popular Harry Potter series, Mary Norton’s The Borrowers by Mary Norton, and Lincoln Peirce’s Big Nate and Friends by.
