The giants of the car manufacturing industry strutted their way in the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show which kicked off last November 4 in Las Vegas and one of them is perennial participant Toyota.
Toyota was not to be outdone in the highly anticipated show as its US-based Scion brand launched its handsome Scion FR-S which is also dubbed as Toyota 86 with a stark resemblance of the touted Porsche 911 Targa,
The term Scion may not be a household name worldwide since it is Toyota’s sub brand in the US. The car manufacturing firm presents its Toyota 86 as Scion FR-S with different badges whilst the Scion FR-S T1 sports a chopped coupe.
The Scion FR-S T1 sports a two-tone body: black targa on its top and the bottom half Azzuro California Blue. The sleek vehicle comes with an all-metal look peppered with an integrated rear spoiler and louvered backlight. The sports car stands comfortably at its custom forged 19 inches wheels.
Sweeping enhancements have been whipped up for the chic vehicle says Toyota, like having high-mounted custom center exhaust, GReddy street turbo kit, KW coil-over suspension, Wilwood Big Brake Kit with custom nickel-plated finish and an OEM Audio+ System 400 which is paired with a Pioneer AVIC-8000NEX head unit.
The targa is a masterpiece which Jeremy Lookofsky have had whipped up at Cartel Customs. Lookofsky quipped, “It’s an honor being involved with Scion for the seventh consecutive year bringing design concepts to reality and setting the bar for the SEMA Show.”
