Fiat Chrysler Automobiles has just disclosed the new specifications of its roster of 2015 Dodge Charger muscle cars including the price and details of the highly touted 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat.
The very popular muscle sedan, the Challenger Hellcat which is powered by 7a 07-horsepower 6.2L V8 and comes with a sticker is pegged at of $63,995. This is twice the price of the entry-level 2015 Charger SE, which is priced at 27,995. Even with the hefty price, the Hellcat can still make it as number one choice in terms of power-to-dollar ratio to date.
The Hellcat which can reach a terminal velocity of 204 mph bare some similarities with the 485-horsepower Charger SRT 392 as it is also equipped with six-pot Brembo front brake calipers, Slingshot 20 inches forged alloys 9.5 inches wide and Pirelli P-zero 275/40ZR20 tires.
The Charger SRT 392 is fetched at $47,385 Charger SRT 392 and it is run by the similar 6.4L 495-horsepower V8 that is present in the $39,995 Charger R/T Scat Pack.
The entire 2015 Charger models will comes with new lead in the design. The innards of the new models receive three-spoke steering wheel and standard 7 inches touch screen interface (or you may settle for the 8.4 inches). Safety assistants such as adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assistance, forward full-speed collision warning, and dynamic 911 dialing are also accessible in the interface.
The lineup’s sheets come with a thinner grille and LED lights on both the front and rear of the cars.
The 2015 Chargers will make its debut in Ontario probably on the end of the year, with the manufacture of the Hellcats scheduled to kickoff in early 2015.
