For almost an hour, technology titan Apple seemed to have accidentally bared its latest iPad models on its iTunes Store according to an earlier report whipped up by a tech-based site.
The leak surfaced out ahead of Apple’s unveiling of the devices at its highly anticipated media event.
The website 9to5mac.com stated, “Screenshots for the iOS 8.1 iPad user guide have just appeared within iBooks and include Apple’s upcoming iPad Air 2 and iPad mini 3. Of course, Apple will be formally debuting these devices (Thursday).”
According to the site, the screenshots will show that the new iPad models will likely come up with Touch ID sensors in the Home button. The iPad Air 2 is speculated to have a new feature which is termed as Burst Mode.
Even the brand names iPad Air 2 and iPad mini 3 were bared.
The site also said that Apple get rid of the page almost a hour later.
Other speculated features of the new iPads include a gold color option for its chassis, a more powerful and faster A8X processor, enhanced camera optics, and new software features.
