Microsoft has purportedly launched its update on Skype for Windows and Mac desktops.
According to PC World, the software developer’s Skype 7.0 version update is intended for the Mac and also serves as a new preview version for the Windows desktop.
The new update versions for both Mac and Windows powered desktops feature promising enhancements such as chatting and talking all at once in the Mac version.
One of Skype’s executives, Tom Huang, stated on his blog post that the company had spent a great deal of time and effort to ensure much-improved user experience. He also added that the updates come with more enhancements on its desktop version.
Skype has gone a long way already as it commands throngs of users worldwide and the update proved to be timely and useful.
