Apple set to launch iOS 8.1 update on October 20

If ever Apple could unveil the iOS 8.1 operating system to update its current iOS 8 on October 20, this will mark the first time that the technology giant will be naming its update this way.

The iOS 8 is expected to feature a support for the innovative Apple Pay.

Evidences of the presence of the upcoming updates such as iOS 8.1, iOS 8.2 and iOS 8.3 are confirmed in a report this week.

Earlier this week Apple has already introduced the iOS 8.1 update to the developers.

Apple has announced last month about the Apple Pay. This payment processor will enable the users to pay for their purchases using Apple products.

There is a report which stated that Apple Pay is on its last stages of development as few security concerns will be ironed out very soon.

Apple might also unveil the newest update on October along with its vaunted and highly anticipated products such as the new iPad Air 2, rejuvenated Retina iPad mini, and the cutting edge Mac Mini.

Apple is truly riding on the crest of its success and momentum and never ceases on whipping up surprises.
