Apple rolls out new software update to resolve bug on iPhone 6

Technology titan Apple Inc. has just rolled out a new software update last Thursday after waves of user complaints about call service disruptions and other problems caused by the previous update on iPhone 6 surfaced out.

Apple spokeswoman Trudy Muller said that “at least 40,000 units of iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus devices were affected when users downloaded the iOS 8.0.1 update.” The newest update, which is the iOS 8.0.2 is designed to repair the problem.

The company stated that iOS 8.0.1 was live for just around a hour and few minutes, before it was immediately recalled to look into the issue.

Aside from the flawed iOS 8.0.1, the company has just absorbed series of barbs and tirades from its rivals and netizens over the bendable property of its flagship iPhones. Also coined as the infamous ‘bendgate,’ the blogosphere, social media websites and online forums were focused on the comments on how the new fangled phones can bend when placed in tight pockets especially when wearing skinny jeans.

The new update comes with other enhancements like its app store, mail and camera, which are on the company’s list on its website.
