Apple Inc reported that it has already sold more than 10 million iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus models
Technology giant Apple Inc. had announced that 10 million iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus were already sold since it was launched in the market three days ago.
This is a groundbreaking milestone for the company as the sold new units already eclipsed the record of iPhone 5C and 5S models. Last year there were 9 million sold units of the iPhone 5C and 5S models.
The new fangled iPhone models are now available in countries such as the United States, Australia, Japan, Canada, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Puerto Rico, Singapore and the United Kingdom.
The new iPhone versions will be up on sale 20 other countries on September 26 and other parts of the world as the year ends.
Last Monday CEO Tim Cook said that the demand for the handsets already surpassed the expectations set by the company. Both the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus comes with an enhanced performance and, bigger screen panel display and state 0f the art microchip that can be used for credit card payments. The price for the entry level phone is pegged at $199 which is bundled with a two-year service contract.
