Volkswagen has just announced the details of its fourth-generation Polo GTI, which will be launched at the Paris Motor Show this coming October before it will go on sale in early 2015.
The Polo GTI is driven by a new fangled TSI engine with a crisp 192 horsepower which is 12 horsepower greater than its predecessor. The motor may be matched with either an automatic 7-speed transmission or a manual 6-speed. The Polo GTI is nimble as it can accelerate from rest to 100 km/h in just 6.7 seconds and can achieve a top speed of 236 km/h.
The nice-looking automobile is beefed up with exceptional shock absorbers, a tailgate spoiler, a sports steering wheel, red GTI badges, and sports seats which makes the new model far superior than the typical Polo.
Among the options that the potential owners of the car may opt for include LED headlights, a ‘Sport Select’ framework that is equipped with electronic active damping control, and a ‘Sport Performance System’, which guarantees to stimulate user-performance settings by clicking the touch of a button.
Volkswagen has rolled out its overhauled Polo last spring this year and has since came up with various variants like the Polo TSI BlueMotion, BlueGT, TDI BlueMotion, and CrossPolo.
