A short list of data plan providers that offers zero upfront and installment options to get the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus

If you linger to have either iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 Plus and you are cash strapped, don’t worry since there is an alternative option to have the iPhone. Keep in mind that there are 4 major wireless carries which provide installment options without resorting to down payment to get the phone. Simply signup for a service agreement, show your credit card and voila you just have the iPhone that many have had salivated for the past few months.

The full no-contract cost of the handset, say for an instance the entry level iPhone 6 16 GB variant which is pegged at $649 is divided over several months. Keep in mind that paying the full price over a period of time for the new phone is lower than it would be compared with the standard 2-year service agreement.

Here is a short list of data plan providers to choose from:

AT&T: No down payment and just pay $27.09 a month for 2 years (or $32.50 for 20 months) for the iPhone 6 and no down payment and just pay $31.25 a month for 2 years (or $37.50 for 20 months) for the iPhone 6 Plus. Service plans begin at $60 per month, but you can save $15 up to $25 per month depending on the data plan you opt for with AT&T’s Mobile Share plans. The preordered iPhone 6 handsets will ship in at around 21 to 35 business days, and the iPhone 6 Plus handsets will ship in from Nov. 9 and Nov. 27.

T-Mobile: No down payment and just pay $27.08 a month for 2 years. Service plans begin at $45 per month. T-Mobile will reimburse up to $350 to cover early termination fees if you switch to other carrier. The preordered iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus handsets will ship in 7 to 28 days.

Verizon: No down payment and just pay $32.49 a month for 2 years for the  iPhone 6 and no down payment and just pay $37.49 a month for the iPhone 6 Plus. Service plans begin at $55 per month, but you can obtain a monthly discount of $10 up to $25 depending on the data plan you opt for with the Verizon Edge plans. The preordered iPhone 6 handsets will ship in by October 7 while the preordered iPhone 6 Plus handsets will ship in by October 28.

Sprint: On top of the installment plans that are almost to same with the offers of other carriers, Sprint has just rolled out a new ‘iPhone for Life’ leasing plan that does not require down payment. The leasing cost for the entry level iPhone 6 is just $20 a month for 2 years, plus $50 per month for the service plan. The leasing charge for the entry level iPhone 6 Plus is $25 per month for 2 years plus monthly service charges. If the contract matures after 2 years, those who are connected with the leasing plan can opt to upgrade to a new lease on a new iPhone, pay for the leased iPhone 6 or go on with leasing the iPhone 6 monthly. If the leasing agreement is terminated early, the remaining lease payments are due instantly and the handset must be returned, (there’s also an option to buy out the lease). Sprint will also reimburse up to $350 if you switch to other carrier. The preordered iPhone 6 devices will be shipped in up to 21 days while the preordered iPhone 6 Plus handsets will be shipped in up to four to six weeks.
