Consumer Report’s Jake Fisher was lucky to test drives the lavish pony car. Powered by a crisp yet powerful 310 hp 2.3-liter EcoBoost 4-cylinder engine the car lived up to Fisher’s positive impression and expectations with flying colors.
The car was peppered with the most recent advancements in technology and showed no signs of turbo lag. The unit was fast and furious yet capable of giving the driver silky smooth travel throughout.
Fisher suggested the 6-speed manual transmission in favor of the 6-speed auto and the same gearbox is suggested for the V8-driven Mustang, which hardened pony cars enthusiasts will opt for.
