The Chromecast is the king of streaming in a lot of peoples minds, and while there are still some things it can’t do, it’s the most functional streaming stick you can buy for the price. The gadget celebrated its first birthday today, and Google is giving anyone that owns a Chromecast a free gift.
If you own a Chromecast, Google is giving you 90-days of free music streaming through Google Music All Access. The service allows you to stream music straight from the Play Store, and there is plenty to peruse with a catalogue of over 25 million songs. You can make your own playlists, listen to channels, and even save music on your device to listen to offline.
The Chromecast costs $35 bucks, so the three-month All Access trial knocks the price of the gadget down to around $5. Last year there was a similar promotion with Netflix, and it was an extremely popular move. All Access isn’t Netflix, but it’s still a great deal as the service would normally set you back $9.99 a month, and it’s a pretty sweet streaming service to boot. It’s also a deal you can take advantage of if you already own a Chromecast or have yet to buy one.
If you own a Chromecast and want to get in on the deal just hit up the link below to get your gift from Google. If you haven’t picked up the miraculous streaming stick yet, there’s no time like the present and the promotion is good through September 30th.
